The Cello and the Oboe

The cello and the oboe
were never married,
And this was fairly
a matter of the conductor,
Who wanted nothing but
choppy rhythm-to define his air.
Defiantly beautiful these instruments sang.
interrupting each other,
in their separate and overriding way.
The cello and the oboe
drifted apart like a misunderstanding,
Left hanging in the air,
Only to clash sound to sound,
Throwing each other back on the ground.
A melody of friction,
That makes hearts pound.
The cello and the oboe
conducted by thee making not a sound,
the conductor with that baton,
reaches for other realms.
His intuitive ability hears each nuance of sound.
Bringing the ethereal into our realm.
