The wonderful stacks, including the Virgin Rock (left) on The Nuns’ Strand, Ballybunion, Kerry, Ireland. The Nun’s Strand bears it’s name from the nuns who took up residence in the convent on the cliffs that is no longer their home; at the time nobody else was allowed to use the beach. Before the arrival of the nuns, the beach was known as Doon Bay and the virgin rock was called Carraig Na Faoileán_ (Rock of !the Gulls).

I like this, nice and simple with a good tone to it. I can just imagine raquel welch in a woolly mammoth bikini, running from behind those rocks, great job Polly!
Ha, excellent reponse Doug – I was going for a retro-photograph. I’m sure she would have enhanced the image perfectly :)
