Athelhampton is one of the finest 15th-century manor houses in England containing many magnificently furnished rooms. The Great Hall was built by Sir William Martyn in 1485. In the Elizabethan West Wing are the Great Chamber, Wine Cellar and newly opened Library. The East wing includes the Dining Room, Green Parlour and State Bedroom.
