Sorry to hear about her osteoarthritis :( It is very sad when the dog’s mind still wants to be able to do what she could do when she was younger, but her body doesn’t allow it.
I am sure that she is well loved though, and has a wonderful life :)

What a sweet face! Apparently she was very motivated! One of our dogs has a similar problem and we give him ‘Rimadyl’, which is sort of like doggie Advil (I think, anyway.)
It works really well…there are times when he cannot jump up on the furniture, as he believes he is entitled to! Rimadyl to the rescue!

My daughter had doggie insurance…and got it just in the nick of time. Her BELOVED Golden had contracted some weird disease from a spider bite, a potentially fatal one. He recovered, thankfully, and my daughter saved several hundred dollars. I think it costs more to take your pet to the vet than it does to take your kids in for check-ups!

In spite of the tough road your little gal has had to travel, you wouldn’t know it from the expression on her face. Clearly, she is greatly loved. Best medicine of all.

The expression is priceless. I wish some people who claim that animals don’t have souls would take a look at this.
