Dock side
The lines and textures attracted me and the water pumping out of the metal device to the left. Sorry nautical types, I don’t know what these structures are called! West Bay Dorset.

Very nice capture! I like the way you framed it out with the right side coming to the viewer.
It might be fair to call the structures…Bulwarks.

Excellent, love this one. You should add it to the Lines group too x

I enjoy the subtleties of color. If this weren’t the digital age I wouldn’t wonder whether you added them. It doesn’t really matter because the picture speaks for itself.

Thank you Yuri- I have only enhanced the colour very little and I mean very little – the rust and weed staining etc are genuine. This and the lines / shapes are what drew me to take the shot. I’m glad you liked it.

Excellent composition and the colours, tones and textures are superb

Thank you so much. It stopped me in my tracks which none of the boats did. I took a shot of an interesting configuration of buoys but not sure if I’ll use it yet. Nice to step away from the fields where I spend most of my time and meet some new textures and opportunities from time to time.

... of water/pushing/heavy/powerul/beautiful/deadly/destructive /life…...can be seen clearer when it’s gone/just as beautiful as the valleys/mountains it creates…....this shot has that same feel to me….im with everyone else on this /color is strong here/it’s natural distinctive/beautiful and full of life/really stuffs growin in there/the fish lies above the roots /land we see and harvest/ use as we feel fit /the sea is next…...if we abuse it with disregard it’s life will retreat into the depths we cant reach / balance will be lost/ hell who needs an apocalypse at that point…......not to be all negative and stuff/in the moment to answer your question about the no parking thing….later…rhett i really enjoyed wandering around in this image

Thanks rhett for your deep and interesting perspective. Always helpful. Glad you enjoyed it, I can see it suits the love of texture and colour reflected in your art work.
