Ha, yes. I’d love to capture him shaking it away but it flies so far I just know it would hit my camera. Perhaps when I get my telephoto lens….....

Thanks Mill, got a shot of his face covered in dew after riffling through the early morning grass but seems so similar I didn’t post it. He’s so calm at times, he’s ‘almost’ easy to capture.

Ha, no he won’t chase you,he’s a softie. He’d shake it all over you and it will fly for miles. He had his eye on a neighbours chickens. Last week he caught one roaming in the field. Pinned it down and started plucking it. I caught up with him and he left it instantly. The chicken was lying there on its back waving a leg with no feathers on its belly. It didn’t have a scratch on it and lived to tell the tale. See, he wouldn’t even hurt a chicken :))
