This is very elegant, Robyn, a wonderful, incredibly detailed portrait and the flowers look stunning against the black.

  • Couldn’t resist buying a bunch at the markets yesterday Bev. I’ll have such good fun shooting them from every angle for the next week or so. Thank you for your very kind comment! :-))

White is sure a tough color to capture at least for me you pulled this off beautifully the texture and color is lovely, superb Magee !!

  • Oh! I hear you Curtiss! I only ever shoot whites on an overcast day. I find that helps. Funnily enough though, I have a lot more problems with reds and oranges, and I can’t seem to rectify that. They always seem to ‘flare’ on me, burning out all textural definition. Thank you for your kind comment my friend. :-))

  • heehee!!! Thanks so much Anne!! I’ve loved these flowers ever since seeing them as a child on the altar at church, when I was singing in the choir. One of my all time favourites. xx
