One of my all time favourite palms. I just love their smokey blue-green colour.
Is that really their colour! I have never seen anything like it. Cool as Magee.Davo
Sure is Davo! If you google them, you’ll see more. This gorgeous specimen is two blocks away from me, and about 25 foot high. It was a middle of the road shot, with my camera in one hand, my umbrella in the other, and Elle Mae’s leesh wrapped around my ankle. Got two shots away before the traffic arrived. :-/
Fantastic capture and a great story on getting the shot.
lolol!! At least I wasn’t head down bum up, like I am when I discover mushrooms on my walks Roger. :-))
If I was a palm tree what else would I name myself? " Bismarckia", Has a nice ring to it! The Photography ain’t bad either!
Me too I reckon JD! :-) Named after the first chancellor of the German Empire, Otto von Bismarck. Thanks hun! xx
Wow Magee!!! Wow!! (what is that red in the corner?? No, it is nothing!! How are those elbows?!!) Beautiful photography!! :))
lololol! You’re a nutter woman! I just love that in a person! lolol!I’ve forgotten all about the elbows, because I can barely walk on my foot!! lololol! I’m sure it’s because of the hours I spend late at night on this darned chair. :-/
They are one spectacular plant and you have made it look even more….great work Robyn!
You think so too hey Holly! Their colour is what does it firstly for me, and then it’s the symetry. Thank you my friend.
What a beautiful capture
Appreciate that! Thank you Foppe! :-)
gorgeous work, rob – i thought it was one of those digital art images from the thumbnail
No doubt the symmetry Nadine! They really are one of the neatest looking palms out there. Tar my freind! :-)
Okay now this is way cool Robyn..great work girl!!
Glad you like it too Kim! Much appreciated my friend! :-))
Without much effort on my part, I have to say DebraLee! They are organized enough in their growth, to take care of that side of things themselves. Thank you sweet lady! :-))
