great shot Rob, had one as a pet, very very smart bird, imitating the washing machine bell, the dishwasher ,not to mention it would call out to the kids telling them dinner was ready . unfortunately he died from the poorly made nesting pouch he slept in , the material fibers he ate but could not digest.

What a dreadful shame Mick! They make delightful pets, I know. Sounds a lot like Magee, my pet cockatiel (I stole his name when he too passed away). He’d minick everything from the noise the toothbrush made as you cleaned your teeth, to the various pitch tones of the telephone. He was a bobby dazzler of a bird, and we had him for 15 years. Good to see you again my friend. Hope all is well. xx
