It is strange how a little something can convey the resemblance and the personality of the subject. I have been looking for that little something for a long time at this portrait, sometimes I thought I got it, but the morning was coming with a different light just to realize that it was a beautiful illusion. Sometimes I was so close to it, that I could almost feel it and I was excited at the thought that I would be done with this. Time went by, and I put it aside, almost giving up on it. Other portraits brought other searches and excitements. But finally this morning I woke up with that thing in my mind. Other many hours of trying, but I think I got it finally. Strangely, that thing was held in some small and apparently insignificant lines. But in a very strange and almost magic way, it held the key to what I was looking for. I might never know why this always happens, but I am still searching in new works, trying to find out.
