I was born in Romania where I started taking my first art classes as a small child. I continued taking art classes till late in parallel with my studies of Sociology. I immigrated to Australia where I studied painting and photography at Adelaide Central School of Art. I lived in Adelaide and Melbourne and exhibited in Sydney. Now I am back in Romania and I love living and painting in beautiful Brasov, in the Romanian mountains. I met Robert Hannaford in 2005 in Australia, and his portraiture together with the art of Charles Blackman, Kess van Dongen, Valeriu Mladin and Stefan Caltia influenced my work.

In the portrait series I explore the simple beauty and joy of living the moment. I have engaged in a search and rediscovery of the intensity of the moment, a constant reconstruction and recreation of life itself.
