The stair to nowhere
chasm
Author: Mishaal Sardar
evocative
thinking deeply
in a pensive mood
pensive..
my delightful pain
and grief
the silence froze on my lips
my eyes filled with mourning
I was still in mourning for my dreams
I had seen all my dreams turn to ashes
I wanted my ashes to be scattered at sea
black volcanic ash
I hadn’t flicked ash out of the window
ashes of dreams burned prosperity
abstracts thoughts
there is a strong element of mysticism in my life
thinking deeply in silence
I meditations on life
following the stair of the life to the pendulum
the whole affair is still shrouded in secrecy
I felt chasm
a deep crack
the window is open
and for a soul tried to search
sentence and burden
I felt I was being dragged into a whirlpool of emotion
mind like sieve
the heart was covered in a thick blanket of mist
i went through the day with my mind in a fog
my eyes are fogged up
I gazed at the scene through a mist of tears
tears misted my eyes
I tried to clear the confusion that was fogging my brain
the hills were shrouded in mist
a shroud of smoke
moss-covered walls
moss-covered satires
my dreams covered with moss
mossy hopes
i m thinking
but my mind at the vanishing point
the point in the distance at which parallel lines appear to meet
vanishing dot
on the map of the spot
an enigmatic atmosphere
a ruined castle
so that only parts remain
that remain parts origin of the story are lost in the mists of time
I gazed at the scene through a mist of tears
I sat rooted to the spot with fear
the window of soul was misted up with condensation
stair shrouded in mould yellow leaves
holding half forgotten memories
there’s mould on the memories
moulds and fungi covered all dreams
decaying leaves on the stairs like dreams in my eyes
decaying inner heart area
the room smelled damp and there was mould on one wall
the smell of death and decay hung over the town
The love had let the dream’s castle fall into decay
the map showed me the exact spot where he had asked me to marry him
in the bottomless pit of my sorrow
a bottomless abyss
an abyss of ignorance
an abyss of despair
an abyss of loneliness
sunken mind
buried treasure
I hadn’t learnt to bury my feelings
and of myself called nowhere
and there is no way i could find
the stair to nowhere

Your work is truly inspiring. You capture such beautiful moods and emotion, not only in your subjects but in their surroundings. Nature as expression. . . and it always fits beautifully within your compositions.
