My minimalist poster interpretation of Attack the Block.

A part of my colection of minimalist British movie posters.

This collection intends to say a lot about a particular film with as little visuals as possible. Please let me know if you think I have achieved this.

The title is a reference to the fact that this film was marketed during the influx of popular british rom/com’s so to try and garner some of that business all posters focused on the insignificant subplot of a relationship between Ewan McGregor and Tara Fitzgerald. To me the film was all about the struggle of the working class miner communities against Thatcher’s conservative government and the release they found through playing in the collary brass band.
