Third degree burns occur at 220 degrees. Sparklers. Light them and they burn at 2000 degrees. Then give them to kids to wave in each others faces. Probably not someones ‘bestest idea ever’. Here endeth todays lesson. I am the wet blanket that smothers a sparklers life purpose.
Lovely image by the way. I hope the lesson hasn’t put you off.
LOL i was actually thinking that myself yesterday, for reason i’d wiki’d sparklers and yeah, realised they burn at thousands of degrees….thats insane. Especially considering all the stupid things we used to do with em as little kids haha… cheers

woah, it looks just like one :D that’s insane :D
just read ’Crossfire’s comment, and that’s INSANE that we give little kids sparklers that burn that hot, reminds me of when little kids sing ‘ring around the rosie’ and have no idea what it means, it refers back to the black plague ring around the rosie (the marks that would appear on the skin) pocket full of posies(what they tried to treat it with) ashes ashes (duh) we all fall down (yay we’re dead)
creepy right?
i know how crazy!? yeah ring around the rosie is damn creepy, seriously what inspires someone to make a kids song like that? haha, cheers :)
