When my daughter was smaller, we were traveling in the car and playing the animal guessing game; narrowing down the options until you can name the animal chosen. It was my daughter’s turn to choose the animal and after several question, I knew something was not right. After giving up, My daughter said it was a rabbit. I pointed out that she had said it was not a mammal. She pointed out very matter-of-fact like that rabbits were not mammals because they lay eggs. After some difficulty in maintaining a straight face, I asked her what made her think rabbits laid eggs. She said it was from commercials on television at Easter time that depict the Easter rabbit with eggs. I guess you can’t always believe your own eyes!
