Yep, that happened to me to, well, well not exactely washed out, but soaked up to the hip. This was when I took the first pics with my at the time brand spanking new 5D… all I could think of was the cam though :-))

me too! I had my month old eos450D plus a heap of gear, ended up heading off into the North Sea off Iceland – I was very lucky just to lose the cameras. Still it’s a beautiful sight
