Stunning!! I simply love the balance in this. I have also tried Apophysis to create fractals, but i am nowhere near anything like this yet! A beautiful piece it is…and an instant fav of course!! =)

Hi Geir ! Thank You very much !

You can create several layers – of the same or various fractals – in Photoshop… and try to combine horizontal/vertical symmetry, rotated, stretched layers (for this one, this is a simple horizontal/vertical symmetry of the same red fractal)... You can use also mask layers… so You can get interesting shapes or playing colors with setting various hues… there’s an infinity of possibilities… and great fun doing this :o))....

Maybe You know… there’s also another interesting software that renders very beautiful fractals… It’s called “Chaoscope”... and it’s free… You can download it here ; http://www.chaoscope.org/
You can even create animations with it… a really good software…

Nice day and fun, mate !

    Have fun, mate !

this looks like ALAH in arabic. is it?

  • macro magnon replied

Hey Lachinov ! That’s the Indian (Devanagari) writing of syllable Aum (Om)... but this kind of writing effectively looks like Arabic writing…
Thanks for your comment… Will try to make an Allah’s name illustration.. Have a nice Sunday…
