Horse with no name REDUX – MacLeod
On the first part of the journey
I was looking at all the chairs
There were seats and mags and a fridge and things
There was a table and posters and funk
The first thing I met was someone with a grudge
And the sky with no clouds
The aircon was hot and the carpet was moist
But the air was full of sound
I’ve been through the unit on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the unit, you can remember your name
But there’s someone there to give you some pain
La, la … (Etc)
After two days in the lie-brear-ree
My skin began to turn red
After three days in the desrted pod
I was looking at a stolen fridge
And the story it told of a river that flowed
Made me sad to think it was nicked
I’ve been through the unit on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the unit, you can remember your name
But there’s someone there to give you some pain
La, la … (Etc)
After nine days I let my pants come free
‘Cause the unit had turned to sea
There were seats and mags and a fridge and things
There was an overwashed mug of tea…
The library – is a desert – with it’s life underground
And a perfect disguise above
Under the cities lies a heart made of grudge
But the human will give no love
I’ve been through the unit on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the unit, you can remember your name
But there’s someone there to give you some pain
La, la … (Etc)
