I’m from Cape Town Ive been in Australia for the past month and was in New Zealand the 3 months before that. I can’t wait to come back home though.

I’ve been lucky enough visit s few times. My Husband used to live there and some of his family still do. They have a house on the slopes of the mountain, no one lives behind them only guineafowl and dassies. Beats Stockport!

It’s been more than 5 years since I last saw that sight for real. I have painted it, drooled over it and dreamed of it. I love Ireland and its the closest to home I will ever have but that mountain…. will always have my heart. So, thank you for a very beautiful and special photograph.

On top of Table Mountain is one of my favourite places so far that I have visited – it is truly stunning. When I took a picture of this view though, it was blowing a gale and freezing! (August is prob. not the best time to vist!)

The best time to visit is in February, temps are good and the prevailing South Easter summer wind starts to weaken. August is the the month with the highest rainfall in the Western Cape Lisa, believe it or not it’s actually storming here this very minute.
