Thank you very much, I’m sure you will agree that wildlife photography is not easy at all, there’s a lot of luck involved. Right place, right time!! :-)

Hi Macky,
Terrific composition, brightness and contrast. Bad person – you didn’t write a story.
I was very surprised to find the Zebra in SA beige & black, instead of black & white. That could be part of your story, plus add all Zebra’s markering are different = just like our finger prints.
Take care, Bonnie
Macky replied
Thank you Bonnie. :-) I should employ you as my marketing/advertising agent!!
Kelly J
I love Zebras! This is a beautiful portrait :)
Macky replied
Thank you Kelly, just uploaded another if you would like to have a look!!
BarbBarcikKeith
How many carrots did you have to bring to get this absolutely PERFECT shot???? Stunning shot!!
Macky replied
Thank you Barb, no carrots at all, he’s a wild specimen. :-)
AARDVARK
Thanks Macky for your reply. Sure wildlife photography is not easy, as you said the creatures do not pose for you. The Kruger is as bad as it gets since for the most part you can’t get out of your car.

Yves Roumazeilles
Woa! Is it Photoshop detouring or a superb night photo?
Macky replied
Thanks for the favourite Yves, I don’t use Photoshop!! :-)
Yves Roumazeilles
Dang! I must admit I am curious to know how you did this.
The other solution I can imagine is using a strong flash in day light and going for severely underexposed background. But if this is it, the light was impressively well managed.
You have me thinking…
Aimelle
