Three thousand four hundred and thirty puffballs are each made up of 200 lines emanating from a common local point in 2D space. Each line follows a pseudo-brownian trajectory while incorporating a biasing vector pointing away from the puffball’s center.
Each line of each puffball assumes a shade of gray that is randomly selected, with a slight propensity for darker shades if the line’s initial direction is closely aligned with the axis.
All this leads to completely unique puffballs, yet sharing common underlying design traits. Much like us human beings!
Unique that is, apart from one pair of identical twins. See if you can spot them!
