Watch the sky

Watch the sky belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Live, Love, Dream: and Skyscapes

Hustle and bustle the people go,
Pushing and cramming in the metro.
Everyday they live in strain
As the angry sky cry a heavy rain.
What makes Sky father so angry?
It has always been a riddle to me.

As the rain pours on Gaia’s clay,
Humans keep on working away.
I step outside, all cold and wet
Look up and cry “Why are you so upset?”
The rain subdues, and I realize his condition,
Sky father was lonely and wanted attention.

Long ago Gaia and Sky father were wed,
But their children are so busy they only looked ahead.
They never took the time to look at the sky,
And our cold ignorance made father cry.
But now he is shedding a new kind of tear,
And as night fell the sky was clear.

Walking home at night, the stars so bright,
The sky after a storm is a beautiful sight.
For the first time, rainbows at night exist
When the full moon shines within the mist.
So many sensations in the world up high
And so everyday I watch the sky.

This is lovely. I can relate to this very much… I’m always glancing up at the heavens and watching the world race me by. People are always in such a hetic hurry they seem to miss what’s right in front of them, whether it be a rainbow, a lake, a bizzarre looking tree or wildlife.

This really is wonderfully written and it flows perfectly from beginning to end. I also think it is a lovely touch how your final words are your title _

Think I agree with what you are saying. I think that we humans are so conditioned that so few of us feel our heart’s true passion. W seem to place competition and survival and achievement above open relationship with each other and with our parents and with God.
