Just one step
Passing the crack
On that day
The world changed

There once was a hole
Where flowers grow
Their colors faded
As fallen leaves invaded

While out on a stroll during the Fall of 2009, I stumbled upon a crack in a fence wall that divided the leaves that were still green from those that where showing the first signs of Autumn.

Sometimes one little interference in a path will cause the biggest changes…

Taken with an Olympus FE-340; Toronto, Canada on September 23 2009. Selective colouring done in PhotoShop.

Love the colours. Could symbolise the cracking of the Berlin Wall, all those years ago.
    Maybe not.
(It’s on my mind because I had a penfriend who lived through all that and described her circumstances through those years, from the East German side. "Bumped into her and her family, in Paris! ~ Nw see what you’ve done! Brought ALL that, back!)
