Introducing leggings. You’ll never run out of inspiration.

Getting to a final destination will not always be easy. There can be many obstacles or interruptions along the way. It can be easy to lose sight, slip, lose balance and ending up in the dark depths of purgatory. It can be scary along the way, sometimes leading one to ask themselves if there is a way out of the dark. But if that final destination is reached, the darkness is a thing of the past.

Photos used in this piece

Manipulated photo of Millennium Bridge leading to St. Pauls Cathedral – London UK; a city with lots of history, but all the while booming with modern architecture. Took that photo just before crossing the bridge myself for the first time. Clouds taken from my Storm Clouds over the Aventine. Photos were combined with PhotoShop

I may post the raw version of the bridge and cathedral another day. When I converted that image to black and white the water was dark and made me think of Hell – and if anyone fell off the bridge on their way to heaven, it is where they would end up – in any journey, regardless of the destination, there is that risk.

In a television series I saw as a child, a man died, and upon reaching heaven he was instructed travel along a very long path (one that would take weeks – or maybe even months – to cross) to meet someone. If he were to fall off the path, he would end up in hell. Funny enough that path was in the form of a dragon’s body – and Millennium Bridge also sort of looks like a dragon. While that heaven didn’t have a lot of interruptions (it was just literally a long path), in other situations it can be easy to get lost or lose control, but they just have to keep holding on…
