I have been having some debates on this image and have re-uploaded it. See my first reply in the comments as well the pictures in progress and let me know what you think; thanks!
I rarely post photos of people, but I thought this one was just too cute! This was taken during my internship in Hayama, Japan. I wasn’t a photographer that time; just a snappy tourist, but despite that, this was a special moment that I have never forgotten – there were just certain things that really caught my eye so I thought I’d share.
This was actually taken during a festival, and this was the kind of context of the moment (except with a performance on the stage):
As there is so much going on at the festival, these moments are easy to miss, but even amongst the excitement there are often little sweet moments.
I still consider my internship in Japan one of the best times of my life (wish I a photographer then though) – the best I consider so far in terms of work and abroad experience.
Taken May 12, 2007 with a Fuji E-510 at the Moriyama Shrine Arts Festival; Hayama, Japan – my first weekend of that period. Editing done in PhotoShop
Revisiting this photo I also revisited my writing Memoirs of an Intern
I have revised it to give it a better flow; hope you like it :)
