Nothing to make a girl happy like puppies and jewellery…
Well puppies for sure (for me). I don’t wear jewellery much – got the heart necklace as a gift long ago, never really worn it, but now I’ve found a use for it; the clasp and the chain was just nice as a collar and leash for the paper dog :).
Taken with an Olympus FE-340 on super macro mode using the portrait setting. The base is a piece of black foam core, and the background is my shirt over a box. Set my camera on the timer so that I could get both my hands in there. The puppy was folded from a 2×2cm piece of paper (I did fold a 14×14mm one earlier, but it was too small for this collar). I haven’t done this stuff for long time; this is my first origami creation this year; and in February (although valentine’s has already passed…).

It is about the same size as my cat despite that a small sized paper was used for the cat – probably because the dogs head itself consists of 8 layers of the paper overlapping each other – it was the heaviest part of the model, hence it had the tendency to fall on it’s face while I was trying to take the photo.
Cats land on their feet. I guess dogs don’t – Silly puppy :P
