My Spirit of the Wind with the background erased
I also used this crane dandelion in Wish
The paper crane symbolizes peace, and legend goes that folding 1000 makes a person’s wish come true. We also tend to make wishes when blowing a dandelion. Cranes and dandelions both having that element of wishing in common was my inspiration behind ‘Wish’.
This time I blow a wish for the people of Japan who face the challenges and grief from the earthquake of March 11 2011, including my relatives and friends…

Gorgeous my friend!!! How are things going??
Hi my friend, thank you so much. Sorry for the late reply; it’s been insanely busy lately. At the same time concentrating on work has been so difficult with all the sad news going around, and being half-japanese it is quite depressing for me; although worse for those in the affected areas of Japan right now of course. Gotta keep praying…

Wonderful concept. Brilliant.
Thank you very much FeeBeeDee. It is my favorite tee design so far, although it doesn’t seem very popular at the moment. It is based off my Wish and Spirit of the Wind which are among my more popular art pieces. Those are, for me, more personal and meaningful than the tee. Thanks for faving this too.
