Spirit of the Wind by Mui-Ling Teh

iPad Cases & Skins

Available to buy on…

Taken with an Olympus FE-340.

I took this during the same day that I took Wish so it’s the same paper crane dandelion with the paper crane seeds being blown away.

This time my face is reflected in the computer screen as opposed to being against it. As mentioned in ‘Wish’ I was having a really awful 2010. 2011 at first looked more hopeful, though the past month was somewhat feeling like 2010 again; it has been rough. I have already lost a part of me; I am fading away… but before I lose all of me, I’ll keep blowing while I can…

(Pardon my inactivity here; I’ve been finding myself in the blue and it has been really busy lately)

This is absolutely staggering in it’s beauty MuiLing….congratulations….time to move on I think it’s saying….

  • I do try; but sometimes when I calm down, or I think I am getting better, another matter suddenly bites me… Sort of like that crazy first week of school that first began with allergy reactions, the loss of my origami and my water supply being cut off. February was crazy. I also seem to be constantly having strange dreams lately, and for some reason they are all about school lately (whether they be university, high school or primary school) and they haven’t been pleasant. It is strange because even on a day that ‘ends well’ my dreams would still not be so good; strange but true… In fact last night I was a bit cheery, but a bad dream ruined my day.

  • (Smile) maybe the recollection of that crazy week of school is making me have those dreams… It’s a year ago already, but I can’t control what I dream of…

    It’s what you’re going to do that’s exciting…not the road back…

  • Well there is also something else I have been anticipating for meanwhile. Don’t know if I’ll get it, but even if it may be exciting, having it on my mind can be stressful anyhow, until I hear something. (This is for something else, it’s unrelated to anything I’ve ever shared).

I love it! (Not so much the meaning you’ve given it though!) Very inspired work, Mui-Ling! Keep it up!

  • Hehe, I totally agree with you~ I wish it wasn’t like this either with me but that’s how it’s been. Thanks Steve!

such a wonderful and fascinating art Mui-Ling ! to create something as creative, you have to be connected to yourself. So I’m confident you’re not lost that much, and may silence makes you feel connected to your wonderful inner self again ((hug)) Aimelle

  • Thank you Aimelle. Well as mentioned in the description, this piece is actually something I did earlier; I didn’t just put it together recently. Also it was kind of accidental as well. So the meaning behind it, which I have written here is not exactly what I had in mind when I created it…
