The Ponte San Michele bridge in Vicenza, Italy built between 1621 and 1623. Young couples commonly meet on this bridge to confess their love. Ponte San Michele was built at the meeting point of the two rivers crossing Vicenza, the Bacchiglione and the Retrone.

As is, taken with an Olympus FE-220 on Oct. 25, 2008 during our North Italy trip during my Rome exchange. We arrived in Vicenza the day before; had pizza with my friends then walked around the plaza where stalls were selling chocolates (there was some kind of chocolate festival going on). As exciting as that was, I was more interested in seeing the city, and did my own site seeing the day after, and it was quite romantic…
