The Miura Coast
Hayama is a beautiful town in Japan renowned for it’s beaches and green hills. This is where I did my internship during the summer of 2007. Hayama is part of the Miura Peninsula; other cities in this Peninsula include Yokosuka, Zushi and Kamakura. Th coast of Miura offers beautiful beaches with stunning views of Mt. Fuji and many more splendours.
I was going through my Japan pics recently and uploaded a few for this calendar; though some are already published in my portfolio including the following:
Cover: Shiroyama
June: Sunshine on Takeishi Beach
August: Mt. Fuji Sunset I
September: Mt. Fuji Sunset V
October: Mt. Fuji Sunset VI
November: Mt. Fuji Sunset IV
December: Sunset over Mt. Fuji and Enoshima under pink clouds
The last pics of Mt. Fuji were taken when the office threw me a farewell party at Hayama Isshiki beach.
I’d be glad to change images or the order to suit personal preferences; or create a custom calendar. Some other relevant images from in my public portfolio include the following:
Hayama Seaside
Sunset over Mt. Fuji and Enoshima
I can also publish any of the hidden images upon request.

It’s a beautiful place. and you did a wonderful job with the collection…

Thank you Janis. I actually don’t have many great pics from Japan since I wasn’t into photography back then; I would have been if only I found RedBubble sooner. But despite that, the cover image of this calendar is currently my most popular travel related photo in my portfolio right now. I think it is even the most popular photo (with exception to my origami and Peek-a-Boo) in my portfolio.
