Horizons Aligned

This is taken from the balcony of the Benesse Hotel Museum in Naoshima, Japan. The photos on the walls are of ocean shots taken around the world; and they are positioned so that when looking out to the landscape, the water horizon lines up with the horizon in the photos.

And there was more to see at this spot:

This is a wondeful picture, so elegant and beautiful. I admire your vision, Japan is a great country to photograph i guess, lot of seasons i guess?

  • Mui-Ling Teh replied

I’ve only been to Japan during the summer, but yea there are lots of seasons; spring is great for the cherry blossoms, and fall is great for the Japanese red maples.
