Haha! The little turtle is funny, it has a very comical feeling to it! I like soft effect and how u’ve blended the edges of the water! Looks real good on a white card!

Thanks Matt; and believe me, I’ve seen turtles do funnier things. Once at the very same shrine which I took this, a person threw a piece of bread in the water, and it landed on a lily pad. Then there was this little turtle which tried to climb onto the pad to eat that piece of bread (it succeeded eventually).

Your response toMatt83artist’s , really sounds like the begining of a childrens short story:)

  • Mui-Ling Teh replied

So many fascinating things have happened while I was in Japan; from small things like turtle feeding, to large ones like festivals and dinners watching the sunset. I do feel tempted to write a story about it; but 4 months is not easy to wrap up – not to mention how much personal stuff to incorporate; which is difficult decide on because often the personal stuff is what makes the life story so incredible.

Hi Mui-Ling. Just save it for a moment in your life when you have time. Always have it the back of your head as something you may try one day:) You would do very well at it!
