Yeah they do go on for a pretty long stretch. I was coming back home from Japan, and had a connection flight through Vancouver. It was lucky that I could arrive in Vancouver from its west side; where the mountains are. If I was flying to Vancouver from Ontario, I probably would not have been able to enjoy this.
