Mediterranean Kitchen

One day while I was painting the gym mural, a visitor passed by and became interested in my work. She offered me a job for the summer to paint a mural in her house. She requested a mural for her kitchen of a mediterranean scene being overlooked from a balcony. By doing so, the family can enjoy their meals and feel as though they are eating on top of an outdoor balcony looking over a beautiful scenery (although it isn’t eveident here, but I attempted to make the color of the balcony similar to the kitchen floor).

The time frame for this project was relatively short: about 2 or 3 weeks. I drew the mural entierly free hand from a composite of several posters selected beforehand. I also visited this mural again; with the permission of my client, after I finished my first year. Unlike with the gym mural (see below), it was very nice to see this one still in good condition.

The wall size was about 13×7.5 ft.
