The golden bird folded from a 15×15mm piece of paper (also featured in my Surprise! and Love Birds ready to drink some nectar out of a paper flower folded from a 6×6mm piece of paper.

A few others have suggested that. Well, for one I typically I can’t bear to look into a human body. Secondly, I’ve already been studying architecture for so long, and suddenly becoming something is a waste of many years of study… admittedly I sometimes wonder whether I really want to continue in that direction; life too short and busy.

What an incredible gift you have Mui-ling. How you manage to create something so tiny and so elegantly just boogles my mind. I have enough trouble folding an A4 sheet of paper in half (!), let alone creating something as amazing and as beautiful as your hummingbird. You are certainly a rare and most precious flower.

Aww shucks Adz, that’s the first time for me to be called a flower :) Well I didn’t have your drawing talent at age 15! I find this quite relaxing to do; I spent most of yesterday cleaning the house cuz I’m having guests today, and I took this at night after I took a shower (maybe that’s why my finger is sparkly :P). Well I still got some more cleaning to do!

i’ve been wanting to say this.. your fingers look really cute in photos~ hehe.. it’s like so cute and chubby, and your short fingernails make the whole piece friendly looking, and it makes the whole piece alot more amazing cos it’s like your origami is so so small as compared to your finger! =D

My fingers are chubby 0 _ 0 ? Well I suppose when only showing my fingertips and having them with my little origami they would look that way. My fingernails are short; when cut all the way they are way below my fingertips compared to other people’s fingernails; but they are so annoying when not clipped. It doesn’t look as pretty as typical fingernails though I don’t really care so much about it since I’m a tomboy :P. And thanks for the fav :D

eeeeh.. as in cute fingers!! not saying that you got fat fingers, cos if anything, i got fat fingers, i can wear keychain rings for my finger.. just saying your finger looks errr… cutely rounded, in contrast to folded paper origami? oh dear.. n_n”

I know what you mean. Most female fingers are a bit pointy, mine are round. I guess that’s why I have short fingernails.
