Ohh this is a wonderful series.. this one looks like our smokey mountains now.. and as I see more below.. there are many many moods to Mt. Fuji!
Mui-Ling Teh replied
Agreed. It’s funny how although it is a snow top mountain it looks very warm here. This was a very special day for me. It was the last day of my intership in Japan and my co-workers took me to the beach where we had dinner while watching the sunset. Afterwards we had a fireworks party.
linaji
You deserve fireworks girl!! there was so much smoke after all the fireworks for you .. that is the reason the sky is this color!! tee hee…
Lori Peters
I like this one with the yellow and orange colors of the sunset best—they are all beautiful. I’m glad you are showing more of this work. I enjoy it so much.
Mui-Ling Teh replied
Thank you Lori; I think this one is nice too. This is also the last of this series taken from that day, though I may post other Mt. Fuji images which are separate from this.

Karin Taylor
Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold
Mui-Ling Teh replied
Oh Karin, I miss my co-workers over there. We still keep in touch. It’s always a special experience to live abroud for a few months and make new friends there. Sadly you leave those friends but nevertheless those memories are special. Thank you.
Leno

Mui-Ling Teh replied
Thank you Leno, but I remember you have taken some extraordinary sunsets yourself; I faved some of those.

wow!! the way it looks.. it’s like a mountain in the sky!! =D
oh, which reminds me, are you a japanese, mui-ling? i’ve always thought you’re a chinese because of your name.. n_n”
Mui-Ling Teh replied
Hey fa. My mother is Japanese and my father is Chinese. Since I picked up my last name from may father, who in addition gave me a Chinese name, people don’t suspect I’m part Japanese when I first meet them. My dad was born in Malaysia, and I don’t really speak Chinese much. My Japanese is ok; have trouble with kanji though.
