A traditional Thai symbol, this statue greets us with ‘sawatdee kah,’ or hello in Thai. She holds a lovely lotus flower which has great significance in Thai and Southeast Asian cultures.

Taken in Bangkok, Thailand, on the Temple of the Emerald Buddha grounds.
