Regardless of being world-famous and probably the most well-known lake in the Canadian Rockies, there’s always something new about Lake Maligne. Maybe the ever-changing sky-scapes and the varied peaks of the Opal Range, combined with the amazing turquoise waters from the glaciers is what makes every look see a different scene of beauty.
Truly the jewel of Jasper National Park, in Alberta, Canada.

well you got a beaut Jann, even with a cloudy sky. This is amazing blue colors

  • Hi Vicki, thanks again for your wonderful support! It’s almost 2 years ago, hard to believe! We both took so many shots around the lake I don’t think we’ll ever get them all posted! Those skies changed so fast it was quite amazing, lots of wind up on top!

Hi Jann. What a great capture of Lake Maligne. Can you put it into the challenge in our group “Wilderness somewhere”. Challenge is the place what is starting with letter K or L. And also ..can I use it as a image in front page.

  • Hi Meeli, Many thanks for your kind comments,. By all means use it as the front page image, I’m honoured! I’ll also put it into the Challenge..!
