I love trying to get a nice sunset image without the sun, and I was quite happy with this one. I was standing on the edge of a cliff along the coast of southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The water is the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the channel which runs in from the Pacific Ocean and separates Canada and the USA .
