One of the most famous places in Canada, and known throughout the world, the tiny fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia is about a half-hour drive from the city of Halifax, and every year attracts many thousands of people from just about everywhere. The permanent population is only about 50, and the main occupation is still fishing, though there are several craft and gift shops, charming little places where you can get some wonderful eats, and the Sou’Wester Restaurant if you really want to have the seafood dinners to die for!
The tiny harbour, boats, and very old fishing sheds are features that have been photographed and painted innumerable times.
