As I said in an earlier post, the site planners really knew a good view when they saw one. The Prince of Wales Hotel, in Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada, was built by the Great Northern Railway on this natural headland which is at the junction of Upper and Middle Waterton Lakes, From anywhere on the site, the views of the lakes and the Rocky Mountains are really beautiful.
The unique design adds to the Old-World charm of this historic building, which is a National Historic Site of Canada.
