What could be better on a very hot July day than to be able to jump into a beautiful cool swimming hole, fed by a roaring waterfall and forget everything except the joy of being there?
This is one of two waterfalls in Victoria Park, a beautiful heavily wooded park of over 400 acres in the town of Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada. Established in 1887 with an initial donation of 25 acres, the park has been expanded by additional donations over the years and now contains many walking trails, brooks, parkland with a bandstand and playgrounds, but still retains the original rugged beauty of forests and hills.
