Sometimes we’re lucky enough to come to a place and never want to leave it. I’m sure many people feel the same way when they sit awhile and contemplate Waterton Lake and the Rocky Mountains, in south-west Alberta, Canada. The little townsite only enhances the calm beauty of this lake, the deepest one in the Canadian Rockies. There’s actually three of them, Lower,Middle and Upper Waterton, this one being the Upper one which stretches down into Glacier Park in Montana,USA. Together, they form the Glacier-Waterton International Peace Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Beauteous Scene Jann

  • Hi Gail, thanks very much :) I didn’t think anything would surpass the lakes in Jasper and Banff, but I think Waterton really does!

Jann, I so love the colors your captured in your series of shots of this gorgeous place, is there any wonder I chose Waterton for the meet and greet?
This is stunning, I love the blues in your shots

  • Oh, we were both so glad to hear that you had picked it, we’ve been wanting to go there for years. It certainly was everything we hoped for, and much more. Good weather or bad, the place is awesome, and I don’t use that word very often..:)
