Some memories of winter driving in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Canada. This was on the Sea to Sky Highway (Route 99), the only road between Vancouver and Whistler. The road follows the coastline part of the way and then heads inland through the mountains, out of the coastal rain belt and very quickly into winter conditions. It can be a very dangerous road at that time, though it has been vastly improved because of the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Perfect exposure.
You captured it well, Jann ! :)
Hi Stan :) Many thanks, we left Vancouver in sunshine and were only a short way out when we hit the rain, fog, muck and then turning inland, ran into really dirty weather. But being stubborn, we kept on going..LOL!

Great shot….by the looks of all those low clouds I’m sure some freezing fog was encountered….roads appear to be a bit threatening!!!
Glad you liked it Ruth..the roads were just on the freezing point, so traffic was moving very slowly. We considered turning back, but it was at the “point of no return” so we kept going :)
