Artist's Description

On the eastern side of Cape Breton Island,Nova Scotia,Canada, St. Ann’s Bay is a large body of water that is almost cut off from the Atlantic Ocean by a wide sandbar at it’s outer end, making it a beautiful sheltered place for boating and safety from winter storms. The Cabot Trail runs along it’s shores, as part of the route that encircles the northern part of the island, forming a world-famous scenic drive. It’s a place of quiet beauty that makes one easily forget the world and all it’s problems, especially on a day like this in autumn.

Taken early October 2005 with a Sony DSCF828 camera.
