St. Ann’s Bay is on the north east side of Cape Breton Island,Nova Scotia,Canada. The bay is quite large and is protected from the Atlantic Ocean by a long sandbar with a very narrow opening at Englishtown. The world-famous Cabot Trail runs along the shore of the Bay, and very close to it is the Gaelic College, the only such institution outside of Scotland.
Taken October 2005, with the autumn colours starting to really show in the hardwoods.
