I’ve always admired the colour patterns and symmetry in the leaves of Coleus. They add a bright and cheerful face to any garden, often setting off adjacent plants by adding their dash of brightness.
These were taken at the Butchart Gardens, a world-famous attraction near Victoria, Vancouver Island,British Columbia.

Nice shot, Jann. The bit of colour around the outside of the leaves ia almost frost-like.

  • Thanks very much Stan. I can’t resist flowers and plants! This was the day I took over 600 shots in a few hours..lol! Coleus is a bit plain at first glance, but then you notice the subtle colouring and shades, and that lovely fringe along the outside that you mentioned.
