Cape George is on the north shore of Nova Scotia, Canada, facing Northumberland Strait and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. We started out from the town of Antigonish, home of St.Francis-Xavier University, a long-established centre of learning in the Maritime Provinces. The road up to Cape George provides many beautiful pastoral scenes and a few tiny fishing villages before arriving at the Cape. This day we met a storm coming in off the Gulf, bringing heavy clouds and rain squalls. This scene covered the gamut of fields, hills, water, a few scattered homes, and even a fishing boat sitting up in a field a long way from the water!

    Lovely scenic photo Jann!

  • Hi Kay, and thanks very much. We’re on a few days travel and just checked in from a hotel PC. I’m glad you liked it, the day wasn’t the best weather, but I liked the moodiness of it anyway..:)
