The Glooscap Trail is actually part of Highway 2, which runs from Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada) to the New Brunswick border and beyond. The part that borders the waters of Minas Basin, a large inlet of the world-famous Bay of Fundy, is known as the Glooscap Trail in honour of the legendary god/warrior/chief of the Micmac nation who originally lived in this area. The trail offers beautiful vistas of the Basin and borders many lovely beaches and campgrounds.
Taken July 23, 2007 with a Sony DSCF828 camera.
