This self portrait was done from a photo while on vacation at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia. I was enjoying the small warm pools of water found among the huge granite boulders. I couldn’t resist taking my shoes off even though it was a sunny and somewhat cool day in October. The painting was done in acrylics on canvas.

Charming! I just found your portfolio tonight and neearly burned dinner while I was having a look! You are AWESOME!I’m so proud of a fellow Canadian!:)
Hi Joan: Aren’t you a sweetpea! Thanks for the lovely compliment, I’m truly appreciative….sorry about your dinner :). Well Joan, I’m at a loss as to how you paint as I haven’t ever done anything like that so you have a lot on me girl! I’m quite impressed if you are painting on a computer and not with a brush of some sort in your hand that is. Many thanks again :)
